Amanda Brugel

Pointe Claire (February 27, 2010 - Toronto ON). Pointe Claire is a small neighborhood located in the West Island, which is part of Montreal's island. This part of the island known as West Island can be confusing to people unfamiliar of its purpose. It is often believed that it is an island west of Montreal however it is actually a part of the city. West Island encompasses everything between the cities that are Lachine and West. Amanda Brugel is said to have been born on West Island. However, this isn't the truth. Brugel grew in Courtice, just outside of Oshawa. Her first ambition was to be a dancer. However, a growth rate increased her height and she outgrew all of the dance partners she was able to have. In an article written by the Toronto Star that she is 6'1" tall and wears heels. As I grew older than my male partners I stopped. Many former dancers turn to acting and in the instance of Brugel, it was a suggestion from her teacher of drama. It was the teacher who recommended she pursue a role for the school's annual production. It was her choice to take on the main role for Anne of Green Gables after she had a go at. She was given a Fine Arts Talent Scholarship to take part in York University's Theater Program and graduated at the age of 20 with a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. Over the past 20 years, her roles in the world of television and on the screen have varied. Her role as Rita in the award-winning show The Handmaid's Tale was her most memorable. Brugel was only seen on a few moments in the very first season of the show The Handmaid's Tale. The only Canadian participant.
